CERTIFICATE IN VISION THERAPY

Course Objectives

After successful completion of the course, the trainee shall be able to;

• Read and understand the optometrist/orthoptist evaluation report
• Discuss with optometrist/orthoptist and set up an achievable goal
• Assess the quality of life for each patient
• Plan and implement proper therapy protocol to the patient
• Refer patient for re-evaluation appropriately
• To adequately arrange a therapy schedule
• Balance between home therapy and office therapy
• Able to communicate with patient, orthoptist and management

Entry Requirements

• The applicant must have successfully completed G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examination in the Bio or Maths streams and possess 3 passes in a single attempt. and a “C” Pass for English language in G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination
  OR
• Any other professional qualifications fulfill management’s expectations and accepted by the management.

Between ages group of 19 – 30 years (Male/ female)

Duration  

1 year (3 Semesters)
